City and TAAF Announce Plans for COVID-19 Safety Measures
COVID-19 protocols for the summer Games of Texas 2021: Safety measures throughout the sporting events will include encouraging athletes to limit their guests to two attendees during their respective competition. Also, the TAAF Executive Committee is directing its athletes when not actively competing, officials, and spectators to wear face coverings during the sporting events. In addition, frequent hand sanitizing and social distancing will be promoted. (Read the full news release here)

DATES Saturday, July 31 & Sunday, August 1, 2021 GOVERNED BY United States Tennis Association (USTA) RULES & ELIGIBILITY United States Tennis Association (USTA) DIVISIONS OR AGE GROUPS Junior Divisions: Boys/Girls Singles & Doubles, ages 10 & U, 12 & U, 14 & U, 16 & U, 18 & U Junior Mixed Doubles, ages 14 & U, 16 & U, 18 & U Adult Divisions: Men's/Women's Singles & Doubles, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, Open Adult Mixed Doubles, 7.0, 8.0, 9.0, 9.5+ FORMAT First match loss consolation will be available for this tournament. EVENT LIMIT: 1 singles, 1 doubles (in same age division) plus 1 special. All matches will be No-Ad scoring, best 2 out of 3 sets, with a match tiebreaker in lieu of the 3rd set (10-point tiebreaker, to win by 2). Please be prepared to play as early as Friday, January 17th; larger draws may have matches held on Monday, January 20th. If fewer than 3 entries are in a division, it may be combined with another appropriate division.
