Registration is $10.00 or $11.00 per athlete. A $5.00 late fee will begin being assessed June 16th

MEMBER CITY – 2025 Member City Renewal will open October 1, 2023
If you are a current member city of T.A.A.F. your membership for 2025 must be renewed prior to registering teams OR registering athletes in individual sports. (Please contact accounting@taaf.com for optional 2025 Member City Membership Renewal Options – for Member Cities Only)
Team sports are now available to register online and must be handled online with the links below. Membership must be current before registering teams. Team sport registration fees are $15/$16 per team depending on region.
Interested in being a NEW member of T.A.A.F? – If you are city parks and recreation department in the state of Texas that is interested in becoming a member of T.A.A.F., please contact the T.A.A.F. State Office to request information. (512-863-9400)
Affiliates
Affiliate Membership Instructions
AFFILIATE – 2025 Gymnastics Affiliate membership will open October 1, 2024. Swimming and Track & Field Affiliate membership will open in the spring of 2025
All coaches/owners within an Affiliate organization must first pass a background check before renewing/signing up as an affiliate and participating in any TAAF events. Beginning May 1, 2024 Coaches Background Checks will be $16.00

If your team name (new or returning) is not on the list, please email taafstateoffice@gmail.com to have it added prior to renewing membership.
If you are a current affiliate member (gymnastics, track & field or swimming) of T.A.A.F. your membership for the current year must be renewed prior to registering athletes in individual sports. Returning affiliates do not need to get approval each year, once you renew you can register athletes.

New Affiliate Members:
Organizations (Gyms, Track & Field Teams, Swim Teams, Boys & Girls Clubs, etc) that would like to be a member of T.A.A.F. must create a new affiliate membership before registering athletes by clicking the “Click here to Register” button above. Once you submit your membership and pay the fee, the State Office will seek approval from your Region and or City, please allow up to 3 business days for approval (may take longer).
NOTE: All new affiliate Track & Field or Swimming memberships must be processed no later than 3 working days prior to Region Track or Swim Deadline or by June 27th – whichever comes first. Please check your region entry information by clicking on the sport link above.
Unattached Athlete
Unattached Athlete Instructions
UNATTACHED ATHLETE – please reference your sports specific page for qualifying meet information prior to signing up as an unattached athlete. Regions cannot be changed after registering and no refunds. Unattached Athlete registration fee increases to $25.00 after June 15th
An unattached athlete is a membership for individuals who are not members of a member city team or affiliate club. An unattached athlete is a singular registration, thus the athlete is ineligible for team events (i.e. relays.) Additionally, unattached athletes do not receive all privileges of teams (i.e. coach’s passes or other similar team privileges.)

NOTE: All Unattached Athletes must be processed no later than 3 working days prior to Region Deadline or June 27 whichever comes FIRST. Please check your region entry information by clicking on the sport link above. After paying the unattached membership, the athlete can not be immediately signed up for entries into the region qualifier. An email letter providing region assignment and TAAF ID must be received first which may take up to 72 business hours.
· NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN WHEN APPLYING AFTER THE DEADLINE.
Step #2: ATHLETE REGISTRATION AND EVENT ENTRY:
Region Deadlines – as the state office receives regional qualifying meet deadlines, they will be updated here and on each sport specific page.
Step #2 is ONLY for teams registering athletes and event entry. Unattached athletes skip step #2 and register in step #3
TEAM Athlete Registration AND Event Entry (for affiliates and member city teams)
Teams can register their athletes and enter them into their events at the same time, OR separately, as long as athlete registration is done prior to participating in any TAAF event, including circuit meets and event entry is done prior to regional deadline, for your region deadline, please click on your sport specific page at TAAF Sports.
There is an option for you to import your team for registrations. Please use a .csv format with these headers (First, Last, Date of Birth/DOB, Gender, Email (email address), Phone – example below)
