TAAF Winter Games of Texas - Karate

RULES & ELIGIBILITY:
Open to all Karate Styles, WKF / USA Karate Rules

DIVISIONS:
Ages 5 and up 
2 years spread 
Male and female after ages 7-8 will separate
The Registration will be on Uventex Tournament planform
All registration will be online.
 
SCHEDULE & FORMAT
Check in registration from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
Competition start open ceremony at 10 a.m.
Elimination Begin from age 5 and up Youngest go first.
Will have three matted Tatami Rings all matted for karate tournaments
 
OTHER EVENT INFORMATION:
All referee will be certified by USA Karate WKF Olympic Competition Rules
Coaches will need to be Safe Sports Certified by US Olympic requirements

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Separate Kata divisions by Korean Kata divisions for Black Belts aged 12 and up.
Shoto Kan and other Japanese style with more than 5 competitors in Black Belt divisions will have a separate Kata division.
All winners will compete for over-all Grand Champion.
All Kumite divisions by Weight class fall under WKF KARATE RULES
