TAAF WINTER GAMES OF TEXAS

We are excited to host the 10th Annual Winter Games of Texas in Frisco! TAAF and the City of Frisco created the Winter Games in 2006, and unlike the Summer Games, has continuously hosted the event for 10 years. We hope you’ll join us in Frisco in January to celebrate!
Over the last 10 years, we have seen more than 35,000 athletes competing in events such as: Archery, Basketball, Bowling, Cheerleading, Dance, Fencing, Figure Skating, Flag Football, Gymnastics, Judo, Karate, Ice Hockey, Rock Climbing, Soccer, Swimming, Table Tennis and Wrestling. This year, we will again host events in: Archery, Basketball, Bowling (Miracle League Exhibition), Figure Skating, Flag Football, Gymnastics, Ice Hockey, Martial Arts, Soccer, Swimming and Table Tennis. New this year, we will host for the first time in the history of the Winter Games: Kickball and Tennis. All events will be held January 16-19 over MLK weekend. Medal winners from the 2014 and 2015 Winter Games of Texas in qualifying sports will be eligible to compete in the National State Games of America taking place in Lincoln, Nebraska on July 28-August 2, 2015.
