Line options are as follows:
Friday, January 13, 2023 6pm
Saturday, January 14, 2023 9am and 2pm
Sunday, January 15, 2023  2pm
 
Cost and Registration:
$40 per archer
Registration will close at 12:01 am January 9, 2023
Full payment refund will be available until the close of registration less a $6.00 processing fee.
No other refunds will be available. No Walk ups allowed.
 
Age Classes:
U10: Under 10 years of age as of tournament start date.
U13: Under 13 years of age as of tournament start date.
U15: Under 15 years of age as of tournament start date.
U18: Under 18 years of age as of tournament start date.
Adult: At the age of 19 or older as of tournament start date.
 
Age: An archer’s age will be determined by their actual birth date and their physical age as of the first day of competition for the tournament.
U18 and under may “shoot up” in age group with parent/guardian permission.
 
Divisions and Classes:
Recurve Men and Women: U10, U13, U15, U18, Adult
Compound Men and Women: U10, U13, U15, U18, Adult
Barebow* Men and Women: U10, U13, U15, U18, Adult
                *Barebow by definition is a recurve bow without a sight and other accessories
 
Entering more than one division:
An archer may compete in more than one division (i.e. Compound or Recurve) but may not compete in more than one age class (i.e. U18 or U15).  Separate fees and a separate registration are required for each category in which an archer intends to shoot.  The archer must shoot an additional round for each entry.
 
Equipment Definitions:
We will follow the World Archery Definition for bow equipment. Please see the following:

Exception A:
Arrow limitations: Field point or target points only! Maximum arrow diameter for competition will be 0.422 inches, with point diameter not to exceed 0.425 inches.
Lighted nocks are not allowed.
NFAA rules will be followed for the arrow rules.
Exception B:
Compound Archers will all be shooting “NFAA Freestyle” by definition.  There will not be separate classes for NASP, Bowhunter, etc. 
 
Targets and Distances:
Target face will be the 40cm or the 3 spot World Archery Target for all archers.
U10 archers will shoot a distance of 10 yards
All others will shoot a distance of 20 yards
3 arrows per end, 20 scored ends per archer will be shot 60 arrows total will be scored
2 minutes will be allowed for each end to be shot.
Targets positions “A and B” will shoot first for the entire tournament.
Target positions will remain the same during the entire tournament.
2 official practice ends will be shot at the beginning of each scoring session.
A 15 minute break will take place after the 10th end. No practice ends will happen before the 11th end starts.

Scoring:
Outer 10 Scoring will be used for the entire tournament
Archers assigned to the same target bale will score together.
Scores and totals should be verified by each archer on the bale before arrows are touched or removed from the target. 
Scores will be recorded on paper and electronically. The paper scorecard will be the official score.
The Eyes on Score scorecard must match the paper scorecard at turn in.
Any question of scoring must be resolved before the arrow is touched or removed from the target.
Question on the scoring of an arrow can be resolved by the archers on the bale or a tournament official if necessary.
Tournament Official is final decision.
Writing must be legible.  If a number is not able to be determined, the lower number will be given. 

Awards:
Awards will be given to the top 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each division.
Awards will be handed out on Sunday after the 2pm line.  If your award needs to be mailed, please make sure we have your mailing address.

Dress Code:
All archers must wear closed toed shoes and shirts must have sleeves.

Liability Release: Must be signed at check in before the official practice arrows are fired.
