Hershey Track & Field





This program is a national competition that gives boys and girls, ages 9-14, an opportunity
to compete in track and field events. 

The events offered are:
50 Meter Dash
100 Meter Dash
200 Meter Dash
400 Meter Dash
800 Meter Run
1600 Meter Run
4x100 Meter Relay
Standing Long Jump
Softball Throw

There will be three age groups: 9-10, 11-12, and 13-14 with boys and girls competing separately.
(Age is determined as of December 31 of the current year)

Local competitions are held by your local Parks and Recreation Departments in April, May & June.
Winners from each local competition advance to Regionals/State competitions in July.
The National Competition is held in Hershey, Pennsylvania in August.
